interesting day

hai.. after been to 3 interviews, I sstil felt very nervous before interviews.. I cant be like myself.. don't know is it because I not comfortable in formal wear.. Or I have to really say I had lost my confidence ever since Honours presentation n viva.. I cant present as well as I did during poly.. Cant imagine how I managed to get the highest score and best review from the lecturer.. I so miss that confident me who can present n talk well..

Today woke up by phonecalls, first call is regarding this insurance company job. Went for the interview the previous day, I felt ok only.. I even intentionly choose undesirable trait during the character test so that I wont be selected for the job but sadly plan backfired.. The lady in the phone mentioned that the ppl are very impressed with my performance and now the manager wan to meet me for discussing more n details about the salary. I politely deferred the meeting to later date by saying I need to discuss with family members.. Cant imagine myself workin as sales management trainee aka insurance agent..

Immediately after I end this call, another call got through. It is from another job agent who got me a interview with nanos (biopolis; a star). She was informing me that both my referees did not reply her regarding the referees back up on my work attitude. She even ask me whether I can think of the third referee.. my head was bursting at that time.. cant think of another one in such a short time.. So I told the agent that I tried to contact my referees first.. By the time I end the call, I have to get ready for the fourth interview..

Went to the beautiful school for the interview, the school has its own track field.. nice place.. can feel that the ambience is also different once i stepped in the building. The guards are very very friendly.. so friendly that I feel so welcome.. haa.. not like those horrible guards in msia.. like they are big shot.. My interview was a casual meet up with a teacher. She was hoping to find a staff that help out in the research lab of the school and selected candidates will have to go for second interview.. She asks few qns and I just answered as well as I can.. Luckily I manage to be more calm this time.. maybe bcos I am facing one ppl. After a short q&a session, I follow the teacher to HR department where she need to talk to the HR officer and later get back to me. When she came back, she asked whether I can wait a while as the HR officer went to check if the vice principle free because they want to arrange for the second interview immediately. I was surprise and of cos I wait. Later the door swing open and I heard:" Yes, that's me. I am here" I look up.. saw a cool lady with PLU aura walked in and she is the vice principle.. I had my second interview with the vice principle and the same teacher. The teacher just asked one more qns and the vp asked 3 or 4 qns and she declared she had no more qns and concluded the interview.. I was shocked again cos this interview end even faster than I thought and when I about to get up from my seat, the vp asked whether am I a hakka.. wow.. same qns poped up again..reminded me the interview that i had 4 years ago at nyp.. due to my unique surname and only hakka ppl have that weird english surname.. ppl can guess my dialect..

After the interview.. I got a call from the agent regarding my referees. My referees have response to her..and she thanks me for the effort and will get back to me as soon as possible..

Today, in short, spent whole day finding job and hope my job hunt can end soon.. Quite like the school interview today.. maybe becos it is a sch environment.. n it is quite stable job although won be having high pay and not much corporate ladder to climb.. ...hai.. hai.. hai.. hai.. hai..

research job or lab tech job...
contract job or perm job..
no bonous or got bonus..
